Committee) (ACT Commission) is a ministerial committee which reports to
the ACT Government on formal references to the committee. The functions of
the ACT Commission are:
· to assist the Government to identify matters appropriate for the ACT Law
Reform Program;
· to make recommendations to the Government as to the suitability and
priority of law reform matters;
· to act as a sounding board concerning law reform initiatives and proposals
put to the Committee by the Government;
· to make recommendations to the Government about the proposals; and
· to assist other ACT reform agencies as the need arises.
