The Law Commission (the Commission) is a public organisation and seeks to elicit public feedback on its work through this website (the Site) as part of a broad consultation process involving a variety of audiences.  The website provides visitors with news and events, a database of all online publication material, and an online submission capability.

This Site is managed by the Law Commission. We provide this website subject only to the following terms of use.

You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of, or restrict or inhibit the use and enjoyment of, any third party.  This includes conduct which is unlawful, or which may harass or cause distress or inconvenience to any person, or the transmission of obscene or offensive content. You agree not to access the Site by any means other than through the Site and interfaces that are provided by the Law Commission for use in accessing this site.

User registration to the site requires you to select an appropriate username.

Once a username has been chosen you cannot change the username.  Please contact the administrator if you believe you have good reason for your username to be changed.

If a Username is deemed to be offensive, inflammatory, controversial, or otherwise inappropriate, the username and comments will not be posted.
